Just like any other contractor you hire to complete work on your property, we collect personal information from our customers in the regular course of doing business. This section answers some of your most frequently asked questions, and lets you know how we’re protecting the information you entrust to us. The information we collect about you may include:
The primary reasons we collect personal information from you are for service delivery, customer service, and in some cases to place special orders for materials on your behalf. If it is a necessary part of any of these transactions, we may disclose your information to another company. For example, if completion of your project requires the delivery of materials, we pass on your name and address to the company providing the materials or undertaking the delivery. We will also disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so. When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit, place an order, or arrange for a delivery or service, we assume you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. We may also use it to contact you some time after the work is complete to ensure your continued satisfaction with our service, or in the case of seasonal jobs (lawn maintenance, snow removal, spring clean ups), to determine when and if our services are required again. If you do not wish to receive these follow up contacts, please let us know and we will make note of that on your file.
